DR FEYISAYO SOYEWO: PHD, FCIB, FNIM, FinstD, FCCM, MFR (CEO)
He studied Business Administration at the University of Lagos and an alumnus of Lagos Business School. He started his insurance career in 1975 at the then Guardian Royal Exchange Assurance Company Ltd. Prince Soyewo received several specialist trainings in insurance & management both in Nigeria and abroad. He established Sammy-Sun & Co. Insurance Consultants (1981) and later Prestige Insurance Brokers Ltd. in 1988. For more 40 yrs now, Dr. Soyewo has been actively involved in the Nigerian Insurance affairs.
He is a past president of The Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (the regulatory body for all registered insurance brokers) and currently chairman, African Insurance Brokers Association (AIBA). He is also a Fellow of both the Institute of Directors (IOD) and the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM). He received in June 2006, Honorary Doctorate Degree in Business Administration of the Emmanuel University, North Carolina, USA. He has delivered papers at several insurance and management seminars and workshops. He is the Author of a book: Insurance Broking in Nigeria, the first authoritative book on insurance broking by a Nigeria Insurance Practitioner. He is a recipient of the National Honours Award of MFR in 2011. He is happily married and blessed with children and grandchildren.
ASIWAJU O. A. ADEYEMI – LLB, BL, ACII (DIRECTOR/LEGAL ADVISER)
He studied Insurance at the West London Polytechnic and obtained the Associateship of the Chartered Insurance institute of London (ACII) in April 1966 with Distinction in Elements of insurance. He also studied Law at the Inns of Court Middle Temple and was called to the English Bar in 1966. He returned to Nigeria same year and attended the Nigerian Law School and was called to the Nigerian bar in August 1967.
He worked briefly with the Ministry of Justice and rose to the position of Asst. Director of Public Prosecution. He was appointed Director/Legal Adviser by the defunct Triumph Assurance Company Ltd. He joined the services of Prestige Insurance Brokers Ltd in 2011 as Director/Legal Adviser.
MR. J. O. AYENI: MBA, FCII, FCIIN (EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR)
Mr. John Omotosho Ayeni is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner. He holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from the Lagos State University and Associateship of the Chartered Insurance Institutes of London (1984). He was elected Fellow of the same body in 1993 and was conferred with chartered insurer status same year. Mr. Ayeni commenced his insurance career in 1974 at the Great Nigeria Insurance Co. Ltd. He worked briefly with Femi Johnson & Co (Insurance Brokers), Amicable Assurance Co. Ltd before joining Guinea Insurance Plc. Where he rose to become a senior manager. He was later appointed General Manager/CEO of Executive Insurance Company Limited before joining Prestige Insurance Brokers Limited in 2006. He has received specialist training in oil & gas Insurance and has been actively involved in Special Risks for over two decades.
MR. LAWRENCE ABIOYE OJO: MBA, AIIN, ACIB (GENERAL MANAGER)
Lawrence Ojo is an Associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria, as well as the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB).
He is also an Associate Member of the Certified Pensions Institute and he holds a masters degree in Business Administration from Ladoke Akintola University.
Lawrence is a versatile player in the insurance industry and had a stint in all the key sectors of the insurance industry - Broking, Marketing and Underwriting.
His insurance career started in 1989 at Guinea Insurance Plc as a Life Consultant and later was redeployed to the Underwriting Department. He also
worked in other companies in various capacities. The companies include: Datum Insurance Brokers, Oriwu Insurance Brokers, Prudential Union Assurance Company, Unity Life & Fire Insurance Plc and Trans African Insurance Brokers where he was General Manager /CEO before joining Prestige Insurance Brokers Ltd. He has also attended specialist courses in Aviation, oil and Energy insurance.
MR. OLUGBENGA ETIMIRI – HND, MBA, ANIMN (GM - OPERATIONS)
Mr. Olugbenga Etimiri is a dynamic and seasoned Insurance Practitioner with the ability to achieve exceptional results; A holder of a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology. He is also an Associate Member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria and a Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria. With over 15 years experience in the Insurance industry, he has set himself apart as a dynamic leader and a change agent with eyes for wealth creation, business expansion and generation of goodwill. He is a member of various professional and social organisations with good inter-personal relationship with all. He has attended various professional courses, seminars and workshops on leadership, strategy and risk management both within and outside the Insurance Industry. Mr Etimiri joined Prestige Insurance Brokers Limited in 2013 and he is happily married.
PRINCESS DAMILOLA SOYEWO – BA (HONS) – HEAD; HR & ADMIN
She is presently the Head; Human Resource and Admin. at Prestige Insurance Brokers Limited, an HR professional with demonstrated experience in working with cross functional and multi-cultural teams. She has a wealth of experience spanning over 8 years in recruitment, Administrative Management, Change Management, Human Resource Strategy and HR Operations. Princess Soyewo is well versed in the day-to-day operation of HR and she is considered to be a valued resource for issues relating to employee relations, policy development, performance management, compliance and benefit administration. She holds a BA (Hons) in Business Management from the London Metropolitan University and has worked at different capacity in companies including Peaceful Moves Agent, Northampton, Core Connexions and D & T Training Solutions Ltd., UK to name a few.
BARRISTER TAIWO BADEJO - LLB, BL (SNR. MANAGER, CORPORATE AFFAIRS)
She holds a Bachelor of Law Degree from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye (2002) and was called to the Bar in 2003. She joined the services of Prestige Insurance Brokers Limited in June 2003. She has attended several Management courses and has also received specialist training. She presently acts as Company Secretary.
MS. OLUWATOYIN MARY ADEGOROYE, HND, ACA – Head, Finance & Accounts
She studied accountancy at The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria and obtained the Higher National Diploma (HND) in 2003. She also enrolled with The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and was admitted as Associate of the Institute in 2009. After her youth service at Riyom Local Government, Plateau State. She joined the Hybrid Consulting (A financial, forensic and information system audit firm) as an Audit Senior from 2000 – 2008. In 2008, she moved over to Mate Supermarket Limited as Accountant, a position she held before joining Prestige Insurance Brokers in February 2014.
MS BLESSING UZODIKE-HND, MBA, AMNIM–(MANAGER, CLIENT SERVICE)
Blessing Uzodike holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Co-operative Economics and Management (2001) of the Institute of Management & Technology (IMT) Enugu. She also holds a masters degree (MBA) in Management from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomosho (LAUTECH) and she is an Associate Member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM). She joined the services of Prestige Insurance Brokers Ltd in April 2006 and has received specialist training in various aspect of insurance practice.
MR. PATRICK EMEKA – B.Sc. (HONS) – MANAGER, ABEOKUTA BRANCH
He studied Business Administration at the Olabisi Onabanjo University and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours in 2007. He was the University’s Liaison Officer for about three years before joining Prestige Insurance Brokers Ltd in February 2010. He has received extensive training and now mans our Abeokuta Branch Office as the Branch Manager.
